Racism by the Same Face: the Millennial Dawning

Now that there is no question racism, racists, and bigots are real. Now that innocent blood washes away with time’s grace, society still oppresses the black community and its people. Society continues to disenfranchise the individual, as to never be a part of the whole. As difficult as it seems to believe, 2021 is the same as 1901; furthermore begetting, 1801 and so on.

As a whole, black folk have always worked for little of nothing. Black slaves worked for minimum rations based on the slave master’s willingness to upkeep his property. In the 1960’s and 1970’s, government benefits intended to uplift black people economically, came with requirements that black families forsake one and other. These are not fair practices or trades. Every seemingly advantage, provided an equal or greater disadvantage to the black folks from America’s inception.

Society can continue to shout Black Lives Matter as much as it wants, but every young and old woman, man and child lives what America is intending.

The banking, finance, housing, healthcare, political and social systems have yet to correct itself against the bigoted crimes of present and past perpetrated against on every black life in this country. Too often the irrational hypocrisy of rules and laws, lead to moral and unjust abuse against the character of black folk.

Explain how work age black folk are supposed to live presently, and nurture future generations without a fair and just start. If we cannot get a car to get to work, where does a black family end up living? If a black person cannot get a loan for a car because of a lay off during the pandemic, shouldn’t bank rules and laws allow for Unemployment Insurance to count as income as that person starts a new job?

If the United States government has insured one’s ability to work then it would make sense for some qualitative factors to be considered. If the country was shut down because of a global pandemic and folks are out of work, it would make sense that a bank, whose role functions within the United States Treasury, would accept government provided funds as a form of secure income. The government taxes the insurance payment like it’s earned income.
